Hardwork Pay Its Reward

Mukesh Meghwar belongs to Kapri Mori which is located in Badin, Sindh. He got his early primary and secondary level education from his village called as Haji Abdullah Halepot. As Mukesh’s father was a cobbler so in order to bear with education expenses he used to work as cleaner. Mukesh Meghwar is the first person from his family who is willing to achieve milestones in the field of education. Currently he is a law student and has done BS Psychology from Sindh University Jamshoro. Last Year he was selected in a highly competitive US Exchange program Fellowship “ELP” Emerging Leaders of Pakistan in USA. In the batch of fifteen. He was the only one from interior sindh.
Later he got a chance to be elected as Secretary for Interfaith Harmony of National Party. He is also serves as:
a) Deputy general secretary of Pakistan’s Leading Youth forum “Progressive Youth Forum” (PYF) Pakistan, which is a political forum for young men and women which is striving to promote social democracy, secularism, and pluralism.
b) Co-founder of the first ever Hindu-rights based newspaper called Sandesh (meaning “the message”) to highlight the issues and discrimination face by Hindus in Sindh. The paper is playing a big role in bringing issues towards youth and media.
c) Founding member for Social Democratic Youth Network (SDYN) Pakistan d) Board of director of uElect Pakistan, which is a voter education campaign. In past He has done a lot for domestic violence, gender justice and bonded labor issues and was personally involved in the release of several families from bonded labor.
Mukesh is also working to highlight issues related to the misuse of Pakistan’s blasphemy law. Mukesh has worked as a regional coordinator with Mehergarh: A Center for Learning at its regional office in Hyderabad from 2008 to 2012, where he acquired experience in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of national and regional programs. Mukesh is striving and hoping to secure legislation for the Hindu community and wants to work for secularism.
