Story From Lahore,Pakistan :
I saw this man last night whilst walking through the Lahore fort. I took his picture, thinking that i’d be portraying the poverty of Pakistan. Little did i know that i’d be capturing a picture of “The Shams Tabriz” of Pakistan.
He thanked me for taking his picture in fluent English. Seeing me taken aback by his response, he continued “…I’m an orphan and was brought up in an orphanage but I have completed my studies. I have studied American, British and Pakistan Literature. On the religious side, I have read Quran and Bible too. I have also edited books on American politics and gave lectures in colleges. But now, Ah I have left the materialistic world and that place full of chaos. I don’t care about anything expect for God, his love is enough for me. And now I preach the Quran and Bible, that’s like a home for me and way of talking to God.”
“You can study God through everything and everyone in the universe, because God is not confined in a mosque, synagogue or church. But if you are still in need of knowing where exactly His abode is, there is only one place to look for him: in the heart of a true lover.” – The forty rules of love
