Testimony of the Ahmadis

You must have heard the statement may a times that the Ahmadi community is non-Muslim, but why do they say so? It’s because the Ahmadiyya community believes that another prophet came after Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) and his name was Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. He actually misquoted some Quranic verses and hadiths and deceived people into believing him as a prophet. Now we all know that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) was the last prophet and that no other prophet was to come after him, as the Quran states;

“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the khaatam of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.” (Surat Al-‘Ahzab [33:40]

The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) once said;

“My position in relation to the prophets who came before me can be explained by the following example: A man erected a building and adorned this edifice with great beauty, but he left an empty niche in the corner where just one brick was missing. People looked around the building and marveled at its beauty, but wondered why a brick was missing from that niche. I am like unto that one missing brick and I am the last in the line of the Prophets.” (Bukhari, Muslim, Musnad Ahmad, Tirmizi, Musnad Abu Dawud).

Another point to prove that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) was the last prophet is that all of his male children died in infancy, so that the Prophetency ends at him.

Besides the laws of sharia, even our state constitution declares any person/community that nullifys the tauheed as non muslims or kafir.

This concludes that Ahmadiyya community is a non-Muslim community, in the light of Islam and the state constitution. But our laws permit them to practice their religion freely.

Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) once said;

“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)

This hadith tells us not to behave harshly with a non-Muslim community and not to stop them from practicing their religion which is a basic right of every person! In fact, we don’t have the power to call these people non-Muslims, only Allah has the authority to do so. Then why do we hate them so much that we don’t even let them live peacefully in their own homes. According to the constitution of Pakistan, Ahmadis were termed as non-Muslims, but there are many non-Muslim communities like Hindus, Sikhs and Christians who are allowed to follow their religion freely but still Ahmadiyya community has no such rights. This is just the basic right of Ahmadis; they are deprived of many other things like education and jobs. This is just another sect of Islam out of the 73 sects that will exist till the Day of Qiyamah, from which only one will go to paradise, indeed no one except Allah knows which one that’ll be.

May Allah (SWT) guide us to the right path and protect us from misguidance and evil temptations.
